Document Administrator
The Document Administrator module allows you to configure
who has access to the Document Manager utilities.
Users are assigned
to workgroups, which in turn can be granted rights
to scan, index, and/or retrieve documents, delete
indexed and/or unindexed documents, and/or edit index
data. System configuration options allow you to determine
for each document type (which Strategic will define
and configure for your department's documents) whether
a particular document type should be brought into
the disk cache upon retrieval, a default number of
days for which to search when retrieving, and if applicable,
whether the document type is auto-indexed by reading
a bar code.
A variety of bar code
types are supported, and can be configured for the
Imaging Architecture using the System Administrator
module.
